Cheers to spooky season with this vibrant green Halloween margarita recipe! Made with Midori, tequila, and a dash of edible glitter, this Halloween tequila drink is the perfect witches brew cocktail for a Halloween party. It’s easy to make and even easier to drink!
To coat the rim a margarita glass with black sugar, cut a wedge of lime and pour the sugar onto a shallow plate. Moisten the rim of the glass using the lime wedge and dip it gently into the plate.
In a cocktail shaker, add a handful of ice cubes. Pour in tequila, Midori, triple sec, simple syrup, and lime juice. Add a pinch of edible glitter. Shake until drink is cold and mixed well, about 20 seconds.
Strain and pour the drink into the rimmed glass.
Notes
Use a small pinch of edible glitter, about ¼ teaspoon for one drink, to make this drink sparkle.
You can use store-bought simple syrup or make your own by dissolving one cup of white sugar in one cup of boiling water on the stove.
If you can't find Midori, any green colored melon liqueur will work. You can also use green sour apple liqueur for a different flavor.
