Equipment
Air-popper
Ingredients
8
cups
popped popcorn
½ cup popcorn kernels
3
Tablespoons
butter
2
teaspoons
white balsamic vinegar
1 ½
teaspoons
salt
1
teaspoon
dried dill
Instructions
In a small bowl, combine the butter and vinegar and heat in the microwave in 10-15 second increments until the butter is melted. Stir well.
Using an air popper, pop 8 cups worth of popcorn. Sift out the un-popped kernels.
Drizzle the butter and vinegar mixture over the popcorn slowly and evenly.
Sprinkle with salt and dill. Toss the popcorn to coat evenly. Serve immediately.
Notes
If you use microwave popcorn, buy a plain flavor so it doesn't interfere with the seasoning in this recipe.
If you want a more powerful vinegar flavor, use white distilled vinegar or add a dash of
vinegar powder
when seasoning.
To get popcorn seasoning to stick, sprinkle with salt
while it's still warm
and shake well.
