Equipment
Blender
Ingredients
1
cup
almond milk
or milk of choice
¾
cup
frozen blueberries
2-3
Brazil nuts
1
Tablespoon
chia seeds
1
scoop
vanilla protein powder
Instructions
Add all ingredients to a blender cup.
Blend well for 30 seconds to ensure the nuts get pulverized. Pour into a cold glass and enjoy.
Notes
Use a high-speed blender, especially when blending a smoothie with nuts.
We prefer making this shake with frozen blueberries so the drink stays cold without having to add ice.
Walnuts or macadamia nuts can be substituted in place of Brazil nuts.
Adding a scoop of this
vanilla protein powder
is the best way to add protein while not altering the flavor of this shake.
