- 2 ounces gin
- 1 ½ ounces St Germain or any elderflower liqueur
- ½ ounce lemon juice
- 6 raspberries
- ice cubes
Combine all ingredients (except ice) in a cocktail shaker.
Using a muddler, crush the raspberries until they are broken up, or macerated.
Add 2-3 ice cubes. Put the top on the cocktail shaker and shake for 20-30 seconds until well combined and chilled.
Using a fine mesh strainer, strain drink directly into a cocktail glass to remove pulp or seeds. Garnish with raspberries or lemon wedge.
- The muddled raspberries get stuck in the cocktail strainer, so I take the lid off and use a fine mesh strainer to strain the liquid into a glass.
- If you don't have a muddler, you can crush, or smash, the raspberries with a fork or wooden spoon.
- Optional: Top the drink with a splash of soda water, tonic water, or prosecco.
